Abstract:
Nosocomial infections, such as those affecting people on mechanical ventilation in critical care units or those infected with bloodstream infections, may be caused by members of the Enterobacteriacae family of bacteria. In nations with poor socioeconomic status, treating infections caused by Enterobacter is especially challenging. Enterobacter spp., carbapenems are reserved for the last option.Enterobacter carbapenemase production is the most major carbapenem resistance mechanism. Since there aren't many ways to treat carbapenem-resistant enterobacter, researchers are concentrating on ways to identify these bacteria.
